ACCOMODATIONS & PROPERTY INVENTORY

Casa Sand Dollar has a unique floorplan configuration designed for comfort and entertaining, yet it sleeps up to 6 people in beds with two full bathrooms.  What's unique about this property is that there is NOT any development across from the south-facing patio deck to the horizon, which importantly, is naturally shaded from the afternoon sun and has the prevailing, southeast breeze off the cooling Gulf waters. The 180-degree views of the surrounds include birds & wildlife of the wetlands, and spectacular sun & moonrises!  Too, you'll observe ocean-going ships plus have the best, unobstructed view of spectacular SpaceX rocket launches!  An outdoor table and seating for four people with room for additional seating with a Weber Q propane gas BBQ pit for grilling make up the patio deck.  For traditionalist grillers, we have a small, charcoal BBQ pit which can be set up on the nearby driveway concrete surface. 

The waterfront 38' dock is down a few steps from the patio deck and is suitable for fishing and boating activities, or just enjoying the scenery along the water's edge.  It is equipped with "green" night fishing light, a lighted fish cleaning table and a storage room underneath the deck with various items like additional chairs and some basic fishing equipment that you are welcome to use.  The docking of personal watercraft on the dock requires additional agreement with an associated fee.  

The home features a large "Island Room" (or family room) where guests can gather with comfortable seating of five or more in armchairs and a sofa sleeper. There is a large entertainment system including a 65" TV paired with sound system and Sony blue ray player.  An adjoining guest bathroom & shower make up the Island Room.  A second, smaller living room that is furnished with a TV, two armchairs & another sofa sleeper for an additional seating & entertaining area abuts the family room, both of which have outside views to the patio deck and bay.  The well equipped kitchen & comfortable dining table with seating for four make transitions off the living room and makes up the remainder of the common rooms.  A steam cleaning washing machine and dryer are accessible in the hallway that leads to the master bedroom.  

The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, plenty of drawer & closet space, and has a master bathroom with a combo bathtub/shower, lavatory and toilet.  Additionally, there is a TV, sound bar, and ceiling fan in the master bedroom as well.  

Casa Sand Dollar is designed to be a "sufficient, self-contained" home with most everything one would need to live comfortably for weeks or months on end with the room to entertain guests comfortably.  And speaking of guests, if there are more people in your party needing to clean up after a day of outside activities, there is a resort maintained bathhouse with showers & bathroom facilities across the street available to registered guests.   

The following list describes more about the property.  Please note that this property is not handicap accessible and, for example, requires ascending 5 or more steps to gain entrance to the front entrance door and to the patio deck from the dock. • Other chairs - 4 Adirondack chairs (in dock storage room), 4 beach chairs (in front storage room), 1 folding chair (in front storage room).

• Closets - master bedroom closet/drawers, guest closet off living room.

• Table settings for at least 8 people including dinner & salad plates, bowls, food serving pieces, silverware, cooking utensils, glasses (coffee cups, drinking glasses, 

wine, cocktail & margarita glasses, champagne flutes), cutting boards, plastic storage containers, cookie sheets, pots & pans and casserole dishes. Common

staples and supplies available in the kitchen cabinets (oil, spices, foil paper, plastic wrap, baggies etc).

• TV’s & Electronics:  

  • Family room - 65” smart TV with sound system including bass, cable TV service (Spectrum) and Roku remote control, 

  • Sony Blue Ray Player

  • Living room - 32” Roku TV 

  • Master bedroom - 28” Roku TV and sound-bar

  • Wireless printer (located in living room credenza)

Storage rooms & equipment

• Storage room at driveway (BBQ pits, charcoal, beach chairs, tools, cleaners, life preservers, etc.)

NOTE:  Owner's personal fishing equipment is not available for guest use.
