Welcome to our exquisite bayfront cottage, Casa Sand Dollar, at Long Island Village Resort.  It's the perfect place to enjoy year-around resort life activities like golf, court sports, and swimming in addition to the many indoor activities and events planned throughout the year at the Activity Center.  Too, one can take advantage of the area's abundant shopping, dining and great nightlife with many live entertainment venues, all in the relaxed, subtropical climate of coastal South Texas with its rich culture, beautiful flora & fauna, and friendly people.  

And special to this area, known as the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, is the delicious south of the border "Tex-Mex" culinary delights, including the freshest Gulf seafoods served in the many local seafood markets and unique  restaurants that are not the typical "chain restaurants".  

Located in the historic town of Port Isabel, Texas, on The Laguna Madre Bay and the Intracoastal Waterway, we're just minutes across the Queen Isabella Causeway to the sandy beaches and warm, emerald-blue waters of South Padre Island where you can experience "world-class" bay, near-shore and offshore fishing, or engage in the many beach and water sports activities, all in a day!

Casa Sand Dollar is located on the resort's southside lake shoreline featuring unobstructed views of the surrounds, including the undeveloped wetlands full of varied kinds of shore and migratory bird species.  Some evenings you may even hear the coyotes howling at the rising moon.  And, on occassion, you might witness the spectacular SpaceX rocket launches from Starbase, Texas where space missions will eventually take mankind to Mars and beyond!
